What innovation means here
For a company that sells other people's software, innovation is a choice about what to buy. For JEBREX it is a choice about what to build. Our innovation lab explores new ideas and technologies in order to turn them into working products, which is a different exercise from evaluating them.
It is deliberately unglamorous. Most of it is the ordinary work of taking a problem seriously enough to build the thing that removes it, and then maintaining that thing afterwards.
Why we build our own
Owning the code is what makes the rest possible. When the people who maintain a product are the people you can talk to, an idea can become a release instead of a feature request sent to someone else. That is the practical reason JEBREX develops its own technology rather than assembling it.
What we develop
The output of this work is not one category of thing. JEBREX develops technology, systems, applications and the innovative solutions built on top of them - from the systems an operation is run in, to the platforms that bring groups of people together, to work built for a single business that no existing product fits.
Where it goes next
The eight products listed under All Products are where this has led so far. The intention is to keep the same approach as the range grows: start from the problem, build the software that removes it, and keep operating it afterwards.
